Professor Asobin is a white red-outlined rabbit, the first unofficial mascot of Sega. He appeared in nearly every game manual of the SG-1000 software, taking over the position from the previous mascot, Dr. Games, in 1985. This character offered advice and tips to players, making the gameplay more interesting and thrilling. His last appearance was in the manual for the Kung Fu Kid game, released on 17th May 1987. Professor Asobin looked like a true little gentleman with his monocle, top hat, small bow tie, and charming jacket. A fanart Sega cursor featuring the helpful and friendly Professor Asobin.
